Xiaomi Redmi 14C 128GB RAM Gsm Unlocked Phone Mediatek Helio G81 Ultra 50MP
The new Redmi C series smartphones are about to launch. Xiaomi quickly released this smartphone, stealing all the attention from leaked information. The Redmi 14C is a brand new all-around budget smartphone with some reliable specifications. It’s the first smartphone to feature the new MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, which is the updated version of the G80 series and can handle a 120Hz display.
The new phone is the first to feature MediaTek’s new Helio G81 Ultra SoC. It has the same CPU configuration as the G80, with Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 clocked at up to 2.0GHz, and is equipped with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. The Redmi 14C comes with 4/6/8 GB RAM and 128/256GB storage space, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, you’ll find a 50MP main camera as well as an additional lens, whose specifications are unknown. The rest of the slots are equipped with LED flash and stickers.
Xiaomi has also upgraded the larger 5,160 mAh battery with 18W charging capacity, while retaining the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and headphone jack. C2 GPU. The phone is available with 4 GB / 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage. Since this is a budget smartphone, we can rely on the micro SD card slot to expand the memory.
The Redmi 14C comes in four colors: Midnight Black, Sage Green, Dreamy Purple, and Starry Blue. Although Xiaomi hasn’t announced official pricing, the device is already on sale through retailers in Czechia. There, it starts at CZK 2,999 (€120/$130) for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version and reaches up to CZK 3,699 (€148/$163) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The new smartphone is quite interesting considering all the specifications. We don’t know exactly what makes the Helio G81 more special, but it’s probably related to the support for a higher refresh rate.
